Once again Chuck Wendig, at his Terrible Minds site, has a writing assignment for all of his fellow ‘Word Nerds’ out there.
This time he asked us to come up with an opening line, and if it is selected, it will become a basis for next week’s assignment, that of writing a story based on that opening line. Actually, Chuck will pick three lines and you can choose which one to write about.
Here was my entry:
The nocturne promised romance, of supple limbs suffused by moonlight, and soft sweet breaths upon loins held sway by the hypnotic rhythm of night.
